The length of such race is one and a half miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south.

The mean depth of such race is 1ft., and the mean breadth is 1ft. 6in., and it is proposed to divert two Government-heads of water.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by WILLIAM GORDON RUTHERFURD and HENRY WALTER BRIDGE, under the firm of “William Gordon Rutherfurd,” at Rugged Ridges, Kurow, in the Provincial District of Otago, in the business of Sheepfarmers and Stockowners, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by the said William Gordon Rutherfurd alone, who will receive all the assets and pay all debts of the late firm.

WAITOTARA-MOMOHAKI ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, to construct a road from the Ngutuera Valley to the Werewereanga Valley, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Notice is hereby given that the plans of the said road and of the land required to be taken are deposited at Mr. A. W. Curry’s store, Waitotara, and are there open for inspection. Notice is also given that any person affected by the taking of such land or the execution of such work shall, if they have any objections, set forth the same in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of this Board, at Waitotara.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the amending Acts thereof, and in the matter of the taking by the Waihemo County Council of certain lands in the County of Waihemo, in the Provincial District of Otago, for use as roads.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Waihemo County Council to take certain lands in the Provincial District of Otago, hereinafter more particularly described, for the purpose of constructing roads; and all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the publication hereof, to the said Waihemo County Council, at Palmerston, in the Provincial District of Otago aforesaid. And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the said lands are open for inspection at the office of the said Waihemo County Council, at Palmerston aforesaid; and the following is the description of the said lands respectively:—

  1. All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 2·9 perches, being portion of Section No. 19, Block VIII., Moeraki Survey District.

  2. All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 19·6 perches, being portion of Section No. 15, Block II., Dunback Survey District; and also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 14·6 perches, being portion of Section No. 24, same block.
