No. 3196.—JOHN PIERCY, of Wanganui, New Zealand, Farmer, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for an improvement in fencing, to be called “Piercy’s Standard Fencing.”
No. 3197.—JOHN PIERCY, of Wanganui, New Zealand, Farmer, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for a fence-making machine.
No. 3198.—BUNTER CLAPCOTT, of Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand, Gentleman, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for trapping wild rabbits.
No. 3199.—AMBROSE WILLIAM GLEED, of 39, Lansdowne Road, Sheffield, York, England, Engineer, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for improvements in machinery for grinding, crushing, pulverising, and disintegrating substances.
No. 3200.—JOHN ROLLA, of Yarragon, in the County of Buln Buln, Victoria, Mining Manager, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for an improved device for the intermittent discharge of effervescent and other liquids.
No. 3201.—PIERRE CHEASEMAN DU BOIS, of Sydney, New South Wales, Metallurgist, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for an improved process for separating gold from its ores, and in amalgamating and concentrating the same.
And I have appointed Wednesday, the 30th day of January next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 15th day of January next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

No. 3203.—FREDERIC JOHN EASTHER, of Caversham, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for preventing rain from being blown under outer doors, and to exclude draught from rooms, to be called “Easther’s Automatic Draught and Rain-proof Door-flange.”
No. 3204.—THOMAS FALVEY, of Christchurch, New Zealand, Electrician, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for a gold-saving machine and beach-sand separator, styled “Falvey’s Gold-saving Machine and Beach-sand Separator.”
No. 3205.—JOSEPH ROSE, of Sydney, New South Wales, Engineer, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for an improved automatic buoyant oiling apparatus for axles of railway carriages, cars, vans, and trucks.
No. 3206.—HENRY HARRAWAY, of Green Island, in the County of Taieri, Otago, New Zealand, Miller, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for making a new product to be used as a substitute for oatmeal, to be called “Cerealine.”
No. 3207.—EDWIN DICKINSON, of Richmond, Victoria, Butcher, and FRANZ JOACHIM ALEXANDER KINDERMANN, of the same place, Engineer, have deposited at this office a specification of an invention for an improved ventilating appliance.
And I have appointed Thursday, the 31st day of January next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 16th day of January next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

No. 3210.—JOHN HOWARD HOWARD, JAMES HAROLD HOWARD, and EDWARD TENNEY BOUSFIELD, all of Bedford, England, Engineers, have deposited at this office a specification of an invention for improvements relating to the baling of hay, straw, and other materials, and to apparatus therefor.
No. 3211.—DAVID W. GAUKRODGER, of Tinamba, Victoria, Farm-labourer, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for improved means for attaching horses to agricultural implements and to vehicles.
No. 3212.—DONALD DONALD, of Solway, Masterton, Wairarapa, New Zealand, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for “The Solway Permanent Wire-strainer.”
And I have appointed Friday, the 1st day of February next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 17th day of January next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.
