NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 7th day of July,
1888.

of Section 534, City of Wellington (Wingfield Street). In
occupation of Applicant.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the registra-
tion of certain dealings affecting the land comprised
in certificate of title, Vol. xxxvi., folio 241, and also for the
issue of a provisional certificate therefor, and evidence
having been lodged as to the loss of the original certificate, I
hereby give notice that I shall register such dealings and
issue the provisional certificate, as requested, unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 14th day of
June, 1888.

a transfer from CECIL AMBROSE FREDERICK
HORNIDGE GLEDSTANES to THOMAS GOLDS-
BOROUGH ANDERSON of part of Allotment 36 of the
Parish of Tahawai, being all the land described in certificate
of title, Vol. xxxv., folio 63; and whereas the said certificate
has been mislaid: I hereby give notice that I will register
above transfer and issue a provisional certificate for said
land unless caveat be lodged at this office on or before the
16th day of June, 1888.

SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY THE PATEA COUNTY
COUNCIL.—SUBDIVIDING THE WAIROA ROAD
DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Patea County Council,
at its meeting held on Thursday, the 3rd May, 1888,
duly confirmed a special order subdividing the Wairoa Road
District into three separate districts, to be called the Wai-
roa, Motoroa, and Waitotara-Momohaki Road Districts ;
such special order to take effect as and from Friday, the 4th
May, 1888.
The boundary of the Wairoa Road District commences at
the intersection of the north-western boundary-line of the
Provincial District of Wellington with the Karakaki Stream,
Block I., Wairoa Survey District, and proceeds thence in a
southerly direction along the said stream to the northern
corner of Section No. 349; thence along the eastern boun-
dary of said Section No. 349, Blocks I. and VI., and of
Section No. 164, Block VI., to a public road ; thence in an
easterly direction along said public road, which forms the
northern boundary of Sections Nos. 165, 166, 151, 152, 153,
and 154, to eastern corner of last-named section ; thence in
a southerly direction along another public road forming the
eastern boundary of Sections No. 154 and 153 ; thence
westerly along the Great North-western Road, forming the
southern boundary of Sections Nos. 153, 152, 151, 150, and
218, all in Block VI., same survey district, to its intersection
with the Whenuakura River ; thence northerly along said
river to its intersection with the said north-west boundary-
line of the Provincial District of Wellington ; thence in a
north-easterly direction along said boundary-line to the
starting-point.
The boundary of the Motoroa Road District commences at
a point where the production of the eastern boundary-line
of Section No. 7, Block IV., Omahine Survey District, strikes
the north-western boundary-line of the Provincial District of
Wellington, the boundary proceeds due south to the north-
east corner of said Section No. 7, along its eastern boundary,
and along the eastern and southern boundary of Section
No. 6 ; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of
Section No. 3, Block IV., Omahine Survey District, along the
eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 38, 36, 33, 32, 12, and 11 ;
thence along the southern boundary of Section No. 11 and
eastern and southern boundary of Section No. 8, all in
Block III., Wairoa Survey District ; thence in a westerly
direction along a public road forming the southern boundary
of Sections Nos. 67, 66, and 64, Block VIII., Wairoa Survey
District ; thence generally in a northerly direction along a
public road forming the boundary of Sections Nos. 64, 76,
71, 72, 73, 74, 56, and 7, Block II., Wairoa Survey District,
and of Sections Nos. 1 and 2, Block III., Omahine Survey
District, to the aforesaid north-west boundary of the Pro-
vincial District of Wellington ; thence in a north-easterly
direction along said boundary-line to the starting-point.
The boundary of the Waitotara-Momohaki Road District
commences at the intersection of the boundary of the con-
fiscated land with the north-western boundary-line of the
Provincial District of Wellington, Block II., Omahine Survey
District, and proceeds thence in a south-easterly direction
along said confiscated-land boundary to the Waitotara River ;
and proceeds thence in a south-westerly direction along said
river to the north-east corner of Section No. 300, Block XII.,
Wairoa Survey District ; from thence it proceeds generally
in a north-westerly direction along northern boundary of
said Section No. 300, the eastern boundary of Section No.
310 to the Great North-western Road ; thence along said
road, which forms the boundary of Sections Nos. 310, 311,
312, and 313, all in Block XII., Wairoa Survey District, to
the south-east corner of Section No. 44, Block VIII., same
survey district ; and proceeds thence along the eastern
boundary of Sections Nos. 44, 55, 57, 60, and 61, same block
and survey district, to the Momohaki Stream ; thence along
said stream to the south-east corner of the Motoroa
Road District ; and thence by the eastern boundary of the
Motoroa Road District to the north-western boundary-line
of the Provincial District of Wellington ; thence in a north-
easterly direction along said boundary-line to the starting-
point.
I certify that the above special order has been duly made,
and the requirements of the law fulfilled, by the Patea
County Council ; and that the above description of the
boundaries of the road districts have been certified to as
correct by the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
