‘The Dog Registration Act, 1880,’ extended to County of Raglan.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation under “The Dog Registration Act, 1880,” dated the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, the County of Raglan was excluded from the operation of the said Act; And whereas it is expedient to extend the operation of the said Act to the said County of Raglan:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in me by the said “Dog Registration Act, 1880,” do hereby repeal the above-mentioned Proclamation, and do hereby declare that the operation of the said Act is extended to the County of Raglan, and that such operation shall take effect from the date hereof.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Proclamations of the seventh day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, the thirty-first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and the eighteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, so far as they relate to the sections enumerated in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are hereby revoked; and do proclaim and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn from the village-homestead special-settlement system.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a street in the Petone Town District, Provincial District of Wellington:

And whereas the Petone Town Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act and the amendments thereof:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose above mentioned.
