And further notice is hereby given that, at a sitting of the Court to be held at Gisborne, on the 23rd day of May, 1888, orders will, unless cause be then shown to the Court to the contrary, be made in favour of the said surveyors respectively, charging the estate and interest of the respective Native owners of the said lands with the whole or such part of the said cost of survey so made for them as the Court may deem fit.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a surrender of lease of Sections 17, 18, 19, 51, 52, Block 6, Waimate Survey District, from SAMUEL AUGUSTUS BREACH to HUMPHREY MAY BAYLY, and evidence having been adduced of the loss of the original lease (No. 336), I hereby give notice that I shall, at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice, register such surrender, unless caveat be lodged in the meantime.
