Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 21st day of May, 1888.

  1. JOSEPH McGIFFERT CLELAND and MARY CLELAND.—Part of Sections 201 and 202, City of Wellington (Herbert Street). In occupation of tenants.

  2. WILLIAM CORRY.—3,720 acres, more or less, parts of Kaiwhatu, Koatanui, and Ruahine Kakahu Mohero Blocks, Upper Kai-Iwi, Whanganui. In occupation of Applicant.

AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD BOARD.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of Part II. of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and Acts amending the same, that the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board propose to take certain lands in French Farm Valley, Akaroa, for the purpose of forming a new road with improved grades, being parts of Rural Sections Nos. 100, 5167, 5766, and 5767, containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 21 perches, more or less.

Any person affected hereby is called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objection to the taking of such lands, within forty days from the date of this notice, and such objections to be sent addressed to the Chairman of the said Board.

A plan of the land to be taken is now open for inspection on Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., at the office of the Board, Duvauchelle’s Bay.

Private Advertisements.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between the undersigned WILLIAM ROYSE and JOHN ANDERSON the younger, as Sheepfarmers, at Poporangi Station, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, under the firm of “Royse and Anderson,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to the late firm must be paid to the said John Anderson, by whom the business will in future be carried on, and by whom all claims against the late copartnership will be settled.
