Adoption of “Rating Act, 1882,” by the Borough Council
of Carterton.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of
Carterton, on or about the 28th day of November,
1887, duly passed a resolution to the effect that it desires to
adopt “The Rating Act, 1882,” and that such resolution is
in the words and figures following, namely :—
“That this Board do adopt ‘The Rating Act, 1882.’ ”
Dated the 31st day of March, 1888.

of Tauranga.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of
Tauranga, on or about the 29th day of August, 1887,
duly passed a resolution to the effect that it desires to adopt
“The Rating Act, 1882,” and that such resolution is in the
words and figures following, namely :—
“That the Council desires to adopt ‘The Rating Act,
1882.’ ”

Taradale.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board of Tara-
dale, on or about the 22nd day of September, 1887,
duly passed a resolution to the effect that it desires to adopt
“The Rating Act, 1882,” and that such resolution is in the
words and figures following, namely :—
“That this Board desires to adopt ‘The Rating Act,
1882.’ ”

COPY OF NOTICE SENT TO REGISTRAR-GENERAL.

I, CHARLES AUGUSTUS EDWARDS, Licentiate of the Royal
College of Physicians, Edinburgh, Licentiate of the
Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, Licentiate in Mid-
wifery of both the foregoing colleges, Licentiate of the
Society of Apothecaries, London, now residing in Westport,
hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 10th day of
April, 1888, to have my name placed on the Medical Register
for the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited
the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar-
General.
