tion of this notice, to the undersigned.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land, containing 8 acres 2 roods 21 perches,
being parts of Sections 16 and 17 on the right bank of
the Wanganui River, situate on the western side of the
Virginia Lake, and including also a part of a private road-
line. Bounded towards the north by other part of said Sec-
tion 17, 252·2 links ; towards the north-west by other parts
of said Sections 16 and 17, 746·6 links, 465 links, 1194·3
links, and 23 links ; towards the south-west by part of Section
15, land belonging to the Borough of Wanganui, 1124·2 links ;
generally towards the east by a strip of land on the west side
of the Virginia Lake, heretofore acquired by the Borough of
Wanganui under the Public Works Act, 359 links, 405·5
links, 376 links, 318·5 links, 245 links, 374·5 links, and 785
links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
