(LIMITED).
IN pursuance of section 7 of "The Foreign Companies
Act, 1884," notice is hereby given that the above com-
pany will, for the purposes of this Act, carry on business at
the office of the mine, situated at Maori Point, Upper
Shotover, Otago, New Zealand.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Wai-
temata County Council, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," to execute a certain work, to wit,
the construction of a road in the Parish of Waitakerei,
County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public
work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required
to be taken. And notice is further given that copy of a plan
of the said road, and of the lands so required to be taken, is
deposited at the Post Office, Swanson, in the said county, and
is there open for inspection. And notice is hereby given that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any
well-founded objections to the execution of the said public
work, or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in
writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Waitemata
County Council, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land, containing by admeasure-
ment 2 acres 2 roods 11 perches, in the Provincial District of
Auckland, and being part of Allotment No. 88, in the Wai-
takerei Survey District, Parish of Waitakerei, County of
Waitemata.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
