NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A
ROAD IN THE MANGAATUA ROAD DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof.

N OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof, to execute certain public works, to wit,
the construction of a road in the Mangaatua Road District,
and for the purpose of such public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is further given that a plan of the said road is
deposited and open for inspection at the Examiner Office,
Vogel Street, Woodville.

And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or by the taking of such
land shall, if they have any well-founded objection to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Chairman of the Mangaatua Road Board, at Woodville.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 4 perches,
more or less, situate in the Mangaatua Road District, being
part of Section No. 200, Block VIII., Woodville Survey Dis-
trict; and which said parcel of land is delineated upon a plan
deposited at the Examiner Office, Vogel Street, Woodville,
and is thereon coloured red.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and of the
New Cromwell Mining Company (Limited).

N OTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the above-named company, duly
convened and held at the registered offices of the company
in Bond Street, Dunedin, on the 27th day of January, 1888,
a resolution was passed approving of and confirming a sale
of the property of the said company, and thereupon the
subjoined special resolution was duly passed; and at a sub-
sequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company,
also duly convened and held at the same place on the 11th
day of February, 1888, the said resolution was duly con-
firmed.

RESOLUTION ABOVE REFERRED TO.

"That, in order to give effect to the said sale, the New
Cromwell Mining Company (Limited) be wound up volun-
tarily, under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882.'"

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us, the undersigned Sir WILLIAM
COLLINS, WILLIAM COLLINS, Jun., and ALEXANDER DONALD,
carrying on business as Publishers, Stationers, and Book-
binders, in the City of Glasgow, Scotland; Sydney, New
South Wales; Melbourne, Victoria; and Auckland, New
Zealand, under the firm of "Collins Brothers and Company,"
has been dissolved as at 31st December, 1887; and that the
said business and assets have now been transferred and
belong to the said Sir William Collins, under burden of the
liabilities of the said firm of Collins Brothers and Company.
