Native Land Court Notice.
Rehearing granted as to Part of, and refused as to Part of, Taupo-nui-a-tia Block.
NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND:
DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND:
IN the matter of a decision of the Court, given on the 24th day of September, 1887, at Taupo, in the said district, upon the hearing of a claim for the investigation of land situate in the said district, and known as Taupo-nui-a-tia, and in the matter of several applications for a rehearing upon the aforesaid claim, duly made in writing by Natives thinking themselves aggrieved by the said decision:
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby order that a rehearing as to such part of the said land as has been named or is known as Waihi No. 1, comprising 570 acres, more or less, shall be had to the extent of ascertaining whether any, and, if so, what, Natives besides those found by the said decision to be owners of Waihi No. 1 ought to have been, and are entitled to be, included among those declared to be so entitled, and that such rehearing be had at such time and place as may hereafter be appointed; and as to all other applications for a rehearing in respect of the said decision I hereby dismiss the same.
