Land Transfer Act Notices.
WHEREAS evidence has been lodged with me of the loss of Crown grant, Vol. iii., folio 147, to ELIZA-BETH CROSSE, for Sections 39 to 44 (inclusive) of the Town of Porangahau, and application made to issue a provisional certificate of title: Notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such provisional certificate of title at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by JOHN PRIOR and WILLIAM ALFRED SANDILANDS, under the style or firm of "Prior and Sandilands," at Feilding, as Barristers and Solicitors, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. All accounts due from and to the late firm will be paid and received by the said John Prior. Each member of the late firm will continue to practise in Feilding on his own account.

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 7th day of December, 1887, the Roslyn Tramway Company (Limited) made and ordained a by-law, of which the following is a true copy:—
ROSLYN TRAMWAY COMPANY (LIMITED).
By-law No. 1.
In pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in sections 47, 48, and 49 of "The Tramways Act, 1872," and of all other powers hereunto enabling them, the Roslyn Tramway Company (Limited) ordain as follows, that is to say,—
-
The word "tramcar," whenever used in this by-law, shall mean any carriage, car, dummy-car, or vehicle being used or intended to be used upon or in connection with any tramway of the Roslyn Tramway Company (Limited).
The words "the said company" shall mean the Roslyn Tramway Company (Limited). -
No person shall smoke or be allowed to smoke inside or upon any tramcar belonging to or used by the said company.

Any person who, being intoxicated or disorderly in or upon any tramcar belonging to or used by the said company, shall, on request of the conductor or driver of any such tramcar, refuse to forthwith leave the same, shall be guilty of an offence under this by-law.
Any person guilty of any offence against this by-law shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to any penalty not exceeding 40s. for each offence.
Made and ordained by the Roslyn Tramway Company (Limited), on the 7th day of December, 1887.
