WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
To Charles Ewen, Esq., and others whom it may concern.
N OTICE is hereby given, in terms of Part II., "Public
Works Act, 1882," and subsequent Acts amending the
same, that the Waikato County Council propose to take land
through which a public-road culvert has been constructed,
and, for the purpose of widening the Hamilton–Cambridge
Main Road, a certain portion of land, the property of Charles
Ewen, Esq., of the Parish of Tamahere, Cambridge Road
District, County of Waikato, situated next to and abutting
on the west side of the Mangaone Creek, being portion of
Section No. 3, Parish of Tamahere, opposite to Section No. 53
in the said parish. The said piece or parcel of land contains
by admeasurement 23 perches, more or less, and lies between
the road and creek before mentioned.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the
date of this notice, to the Chairman of the Waikato County
Council.
A plan and particulars of the land proposed to be taken
may be inspected, at reasonable hours, at the Post Office,
Tamahere.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 10 AND SUBSECTIONS 2
AND 3, "PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882."
I T is hereby notified that the Waikato County Council
intend to take, for road purposes, a portion of Section
No. 2, Parish of Taupiri, the property of William Collins.
The land to be taken contains by admeasurement 1 acre
2 roods 25 perches, more or less.
Any person affected hereby is called on to set forth in
writing any well-founded objection to the taking of the land
within forty days from the date of this notice, and to send
any such objection to the Chairman, Waikato County
Council, Hamilton.
A plan of the land to be taken may be seen at all reason-
able hours at the residence of Mr. Collins, Huntly.

THE WAIMEA PLAINS RAILWAY COMPANY
(LIMITED).
N OTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the Waimea Plains Railway Company
(Limited), held at the registered office of the company on
Monday, the 24th day of October, 1887, the following resolu-
tions were passed, namely,–
-
"That the Waimea Plains Railway Company (Limited)
be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The
Companies Act, 1882.'" -
"That Richard Henry Leary, of Dunedin, Public
Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for
the purpose of the said winding-up." -
"That the Liquidator be paid the sum of fifty-two
pounds ten shillings as remuneration for his services."
And notice is hereby further given that an extraordinary
general meeting of the said company will be held at the
registered office of the company, Bond Street, Dunedin, on
Monday, the 21st day of November, 1887, at 3.30 o'clock
p.m., for the purpose of confirming the said resolutions.
