In the matter of “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” and
of the Globe Marine Insurance Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that the following are the offices
where the business of the said company is intended
to be carried on, and at which legal proceedings may be
served upon the said company, and all notices or communi-
cations sent or left:—
In Auckland: At the office of Messrs. B. Tonks and Co.,
Queen Street.
In Christchurch: At the office of James Henderson,
No. 178, Hereford Street.
In Dunedin: At the office of W. G. Neil, High Street.
In Wellington: At the office of George H. Scales, Custom-
house Quay.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between
the undersigned James Mercer and Thomas Duck-
manton, in the trade or business of Coppersmiths and Brass-
founders, at Christchurch, under the firm of “Mercer and
Duckmanton,” was this day dissolved by mutual consent.
The said Thomas Duckmanton will pay and receive all debts
owing from and to the said partnership in the regular course
of trade.
Witness our hands this 22nd day of October, 1887.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
