WHEREAS application has been made to register ARTHUR JAMES COTTERILL and JAMES WREN CARLILE, claiming as the surviving Devisees in trust under the will of the late HECTOR WILLIAM POPE SMITH, as Proprietors of an estate in fee-simple in the following lands: 170 acres of rural land on Smith's run, in the Maraekakahu District, comprised in Provisional Register, Vol. i., folio 233; 501 acres of rural land on the same run, comprised in Provisional Register, Vol. ii., folio 146; 672 acres, Block XL., Maraekakahu District, comprised in certificate of title, Vol. xi., folio 83: And whereas the receipts for the purchase-moneys of the lands firstly and secondly described have been proved to my satisfaction to have been lost: Now notice is hereby given that I shall, at the expiration of one month after the date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same, register the transmission without requiring production of the lost receipts, and shall issue provisional receipts in lieu of the lost ones.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

MATAURA TO EAST GORE ROAD.

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance of the powers granted by "The Public Works Act, 1882," the Southland County Council, by resolution of the 14th October, 1887, declared the following road to be a county road, namely, road from Mataura to East Gore, along east bank of the Mataura River, starting at Mataura to Waipahi County Road at Section 1, Block I., Tuturau, and terminating at south corner of Section 4, Block IV., Waikaka District.
