The sum £128,346 represents the total value of all manufactures (including repairs), but the numbers of carriages, &c., stated are not the full number of vehicles built, as in several cases the values only of the manufactures for the year have been given.

VUW Te Waharoa — NZ Gazette 1887, No 7

The Old Government Buildings (depicted) were completed in 1876 and initially housed the entire Wellington-based civil service as well as the entire New Zealand Cabinet. The Executive Council met there until 1948.
