And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native
owners:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that
the Government work known as the Porewa Section of the
North Island Main Trunk Railway shall and may be con-
structed on or through the parcel of land more particularly
mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Town of Te Awamutu.

WHEREAS by section seventeen of "The Land Act,
1885," it is provided that the reserves to be made
for any borough or town district under such section shall be
made only in cases where no such reserves for the purpose
of sections three, five, and six of "The Plans of Towns
Regulation Act, 1875," exist therein, or, if existing, do not
equal or exceed the amount of reserves authorised to be
made under such last-mentioned Act:
And whereas the existing reserves for the Town of Te
Awamutu do not equal the amount of reserves authorised to
be made under "The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875,"
and it appears expedient to make the reserve hereinafter
mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the
seventeenth section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of all
other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare
that the land enumerated in the first column of the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby reserved for the pur-
pose stated opposite to the description of such land in the
second column hereto, for the benefit of the Town of Te
Awamutu, as constituted under the provisions of "The Town
Districts Act, 1881," on the twenty-seventh day of Septem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me in that behalf by "The Licensing Act
Amendment Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint
FRANCIS LIPSEY,
EDWIN EDWARDS,
JAMES WILLIAM SHAW,
CHARLES FEATHERSTONE MITCHELL, and
THOMAS LOGAN,
the Licensing Committee of the District of Ohinemuri, to
exercise, in terms of section fifteen of the said Act, a special
authority in the granting of publicans' licenses within the
district the limits of which are defined in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, situate
in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the Hikutai Blocks
Nos. 3 and 4, the Whangamata Block No. 3 and Section
No. 1, Block VI., Ohinemuri Survey District. Bounded
towards the North-east by the Whangamata No. 4 Block;
towards the South-east and again towards the North-east by
the Whangamata No. 6 Block; towards the South by the
Ohinemuri Native Block No. 20 and the Komata North
Native Block No. 1; towards the West by the last-mentioned
block; towards the North-west generally by the Kaiamanawa
Block and by land granted to L. A. McCaskill to the Hiku-
tai Stream; again towards the South by that stream to the
western boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block VI., Ohine-
muri Survey District; again towards the West by the said
western boundary-line and the western boundary-line of the
eastern portion of the Hikutai Block No. 3; and again
towards the North-east and North-west respectively by the
north-eastern boundary-line of the eastern portion of the
Hikutai Block No. 3 and the north-western boundary-line
of the Whangamata Block No. 3.

this third day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second
column of the Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective
districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by
the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid,
for the purpose of performing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said
Schedule opposite the name of each such place; and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public
Vaccinator will attend, for the purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on
the days and at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each
such place.
