A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions which are to be set forth in an Order in Council to be made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for application as village homestead special-settlement sections for perpetual leasing, upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued on the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and sixty-third section of the said Act.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby incorporate the members of the Gore Agricultural and Pastoral Association into a corporate body under the said Act, under the style and title of “The Gore Agricultural and Pastoral Association.”

Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of October, 1887.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by “The Court of Appeal Act, 1882,” it is enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at such times and places as shall be from time to time fixed by the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Government Gazette twenty-one days at least before the time so fixed respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Courthouse, in the City of Wellington, upon Monday, the fourteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of September, 1887.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work authorised to be constructed by the Government, to wit, the Thames-Hikutaia Section of the Waikato-Thames Railway:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the Thames-Hikutaia Section of the Waikato-Thames Railway shall and may be constructed on or through the parcels of land more particularly mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
