IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-mining leases cancelled, and that the ground is now open for application as if no leases of the said ground had ever been applied for:—
No. 877c. Section 21, Block XI., Skipper’s Creek, Otago Mining District; 4 acres 1 rood 2 perches.
No. 881c. Section 30, Block XI., Skipper’s Creek, Otago Mining District; 1 acre 3 roods 13 perches.

Gold-mining Lease Application refused.
IT is hereby notified that the application of Arnold Sturm, under “The Mines Act, 1877,” for a gold-mining lease of Section 12, Block XIV., Tuapeka East, has been refused, and that the said section is now open to persons holding miners’ rights or business licenses, or to applicants for a lease, as if no lease of the said section had ever been applied for.
