Land Transfer Act Notices.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with me, made on behalf of the registered Proprietors of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Block I., Woodland District, of the loss of the certificate of title for the said land, dated the 13th day of May, 1872, Register-book, Vol. iii., folio 89: I hereby give notice that I intend to issue a provisional certificate of title for the said land to the HONOURABLE JAMES WILLIAMSON and JOHN MURRAY, both of Auckland, Esquires, unless caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof.

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, the undersigned JOSEPH JAMES KINSEY and JOSEPH FREDERICK WARD, as Customhouse and Shipping Agents, has been dissolved as from the 22nd day of August, 1887, so far as relates to the said Joseph Frederick Ward, who retires from the firm.

The business will henceforth be carried on by the said Joseph James Kinsey on his own account, under the name of “Kinsey and Co.,” and he will receive and pay all debts due to or owing by the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which for some time past has been carried on by ALFRED THOMAS CARD and SAMUEL RABONE, under the firm of “Card and Rabone,” at Blenheim, in the trade or business of Newspaper Proprietors, Printers, and Stationers, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of December last.

Mr. Rabone will continue to carry on business under the style or firm of “Card and Rabone,” and he will pay and receive all moneys owing by and to the late firm.

THE WANGANUI RIVER STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Mr. Filmer’s Board-room, Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, on the 15th day of August, 1887, the subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the Wanganui River Steam Navigation Company (Limited) cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting WILLIAM PURDIE CURRIE, of Wanganui, Merchant, and JOHN C. BRECHIN, of Wanganui, Draper, were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.
