Notifying issue of Writs, Date of Polling, &c.
Clerk of the Writs’ Office,
Wellington, 26th August, 1887.
IN pursuance of a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, dated the 26th day of August instant, directed to me as Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers, commanding them to proceed to the election of members of the House of Representatives, and have fixed Monday, the 26th day of September next, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Wednesday, the 5th day of October next, as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
