NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the Shareholders of the above company, held at the company’s office, Wellington, on Monday, the 27th day of June, 1887, at 7.30 p.m., it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the Shareholders of the above company, held at the company’s office, Wellington, on Monday, the 25th day of July, 1887, at 7.30 p.m., it was resolved that the resolution passed at the extraordinary general meeting held on the 27th day of June last to wind up the company voluntarily should be and the same was then confirmed.

WAKANUI ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above Road Board intend to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road in the Wakanui Road District, and for that purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. A plan of the said road, showing land required to be taken, is open for inspection at the Wakanui Schoolhouse and the Road Board Office during reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said works or the taking of the said land are required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work or the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the fourteenth day of July, 1887, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the said Road Board.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the charge will be 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
