Land temporarily reserved in the Land District of Taranaki.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land District of Taranaki, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.

TARANAKI.

All that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 118 acres, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block IX., Opaku Survey District. Bounded on the North-east by the Kawaite Road, 3419·5 links; on the South-east by Section No. 5, 3241 links; on the South-west by the Mokoro Stream; and on the North-west by Section No. 3, 4000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth. For primary education.

All that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section No. 66, Block X., Kaupokonui Survey District. Bounded on the North by Section No. 64, 2188 links; on the East by Section No. 67, 4600 links; on the South by the Eltham Road, 2188 links; and on the West by Section No. 65, 4600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth. All that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 185 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 80, Block X., Kaupokonui Survey District. Bounded on the North by Section No. 78, 5370 links; on the East by the Mangawhero-iti Stream; on the South by Section No. 82, 5544 links; and on the West by the Mangawhero Road, 3460·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth.
