Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Manipori Village Settlement, Southland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of July, 1887.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same: And whereas His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand has, by Proclamation, set apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following terms and conditions upon which the said village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that is to say,—

The lands enumerated in the Schedules hereto shall be disposed of as village and small-farm allotments for cash.

The day upon which the lands shall be open for application shall be Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, at the Land Office, Invercargill.

No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one section.

If there should be more than one application for any allotment, the right to purchase the same shall be determined by auction amongst the applicants.

The purchaser of any lands described in the Schedules, upon the full payment of the purchase-money, will be entitled to his Crown grant, to be issued in the usual way upon payment of the fees prescribed by law.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in the Provincial District of Auckland, and known as Hamilton Recreation-grounds, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881;” and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with, in manner directed by the said Act, by the Domain Board constituted by an Order in Council issued on the twentieth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine.
