I, WALTER HISLOP, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District of Otago and Colony of New Zealand, Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £125,000, divided into 2,500 shares of £5 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 21,669.
  4. That calls to the amount of £1 2s. 6d. per share have been made, under which the sum of £24,377 12s. 6d. has been received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates under administration during the last six months is nil.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the last six months is nil.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration is £11 12s. 6d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on the first day of May last were: Debts owing to sundry persons by the company on simple contracts, £8,663 2s. 1d.
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were: Bills of exchange and promissory notes, £207 7s. 6d.; cash in hand and at bankers, £2,909 18s. 10d.; other securities and moneys owing to the company, £10,778 14s. 4d.; other assets, £20,245 10s. 8d.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned EDWARD PEACH WILLIAM MILES, FREDERICK BANKS, HUGH PERCY MURRAY AYNSLEY, FULBERT ARCHER, CLARENCE SHIRREFF BAYARD HILTON, RODERICK PRYOR, and JOHN TUCKER FORD, carrying on business as Shipowners, Storekeepers, Stockholders, Runholders, Commission Merchants, Estate and General Agents, and Auctioneers, at Christchurch, in the Colony of New Zealand, under the style or firm of “Miles and Company,” and at Timaru, in the said colony, under the style or firm of “Miles, Archer, and Company,” has been dissolved by mutual consent so far as regards the said John Tucker Ford, who retires from the firm as from the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven. The remaining members will continue the said business under the present styles of “Miles and Company,” at Christchurch, and “Miles, Archer, and Company,” at Timaru.

As witness our hands this twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

THE PELORUS SAW-MILL COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

LIQUIDATOR’S FINAL MEETING.

I HEREBY convene a general meeting of the Shareholders of the Pelorus Saw-mill Company (Limited), in liquidation, to be held in the Hall of the Chamber of Commerce, situate in Lambton Quay, in the City of Wellington, on Thursday, the 13th day of October, 1887, at the hour of twelve o’clock noon, for the purpose of receiving the Liquidator’s statement of accounts, and closing the liquidation, in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act.
