NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of “The Land Act, 1885,” that the runs enumerated below will be offered by public auction, at the Old Council Chamber, Napier, at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, the 6th July, 1887.

Description of Land: The small grazing run is third-class land, open, with a growth of stunted fern, and at a considerable elevation. It is approached from the Pohui Settlement. The pastoral run is on the Kaweka Ranges, and at a high elevation, stony, and not capable of carrying a large proportion of stock. There are some patches of black-birch timber on it. It is approached from Napier by the Patea Road.

Auction of Leases in Marlborough.

THE under-mentioned lands will be offered to be let by public auction, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, on Saturday, the 2nd July, 1887, at noon:—

PASTORAL LICENSES UNDER PART VI. OF “THE LAND ACT, 1885.”

• License to contain special condition reserving a right-of-way to the public through the run.

Term, ten years; upset annual rent, 1d. an acre. Two months’ rent and a license-fee of £1 1s. must be paid on the fall of the hammer.

LEASE UNDER SECTION 23 OF “THE PUBLIC RESERVES ACT, 1881.”

Term, five years from the 4th July, 1887; upset annual rent, £5 10s. The lease will contain the same conditions as the lease now current. Six months’ rent and £3 for the lease must be paid on the fall of the hammer.

RUNS to be submitted to public auction, at the Land Office, Hokitika, on Wednesday, the 6th July, 1887, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

The licenses for runs will be for terms as set forth.

Purchasers will have to pay rent from date of sale to the 1st September, 1888, on the fall of the hammer.

In the matter of a Native reserve called Araheke, containing 464 acres.

NOTICE is hereby given that the inquiry into the ownership and other matters relative to the above-named reserve, opened at a sitting of the Court held at New Plymouth on the 7th day of June instant, and ordered to be adjourned for further hearing to the City of Wellington, will be resumed at a sitting of the Court to be held at Wellington aforesaid, on Tuesday, the 12th day of July, 1887, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.

Sitting of Court to determine Shares and Interests in the Ohaumoko Block.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND:
WANGANUI DISTRICT.

WHEREAS it has been referred by a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand to this Court to determine what, as among the several persons who were on the 28th day of July, 1879, owners of the parcel of land situate in the said district, and known as the Ohaumoko Block, were the proportionate shares and interests of such owners respectively in the said parcel of land, and what have been such proportionate shares and interests of the owners of the said land from the said 28th day of July, 1879, up to the date of the sitting of this Court hereby notified, and what then are such proportionate shares and interests:

Notice is hereby given that at a sitting to be held at Wanganui, on the 19th day of July, 1887, this Court will proceed to inquire into and determine the questions so referred to it as aforesaid, and on such inquiry the said owners are hereby required to attend.
