WAIMATA ROAD DISTRICT.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Waimata Road Board
intend to construct two new portions of road in the
Waimata Road District—the one in Block D, North Gis-
borne, to connect the Valley Lane Road with Fox Street;
the other to connect the Hapara No. 3 Block with the roads
running through Block E, Suburbs of North Gisborne; and
to take for these purposes the lands described in the follow-
ing Schedule.
Any person having any objections to the proposed roads
being constructed or to the taking of those lands is required
to state his objections in writing, and send the writing to
the office of the Board, Lowe Street, Gisborne, on or before
the 3rd day of February, 1887. Plans of the lands affected
by the construction of these roads are on view at the office
of the Board, Gisborne, and at Mr. O'Meara's house, North
Gisborne.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the New Zealand Iron and Steel Company
(Limited).
A T an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held
on the 2nd day of December instant, the subjoined special
resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extra-
ordinary general meeting of the members of the said com-
pany, also duly convened and held at the same place on
the 31st day of December, 1886, the said resolution was duly
confirmed.
Resolution.
"That the company be voluntarily wound up."
At the said meetings the undersigned, John Chambers,
declared the said resolution to be carried.

I, STEWART HALL HARRIS, Licentiate of the King and
Queen's College of Physicians and of the Royal
College of Surgeons, Ireland, also Licentiate in Midwifery of
the former, now residing at Marton, do hereby give notice
that I intend applying, on the 7th day of February, 1887, to
have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony
of New Zealand; and that I have accordingly deposited
evidence of my qualifications in the office of the Registrar-
General of the said colony.

I, JOHN EWART, M.D., M.B., and C.M. of Edinburgh
University, now residing at Lyttelton, do hereby give
notice that I intend applying, on the 11th day of February,
1887, to have my name placed on the Medical Register for
the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have accordingly
deposited evidence of my qualifications in the Registrar's
Office at Christchurch.

S UBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 20s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
