Setting apart Land in the Auckland Land District for Per-
petual Leasing under “The Land Act, 1885.”

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and
authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enume-
rated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of
“The Land Act, 1885.”

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this ninth day of May, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land being the western portion
of Section No. 15, Block II., Waimata Survey District,
situate in the Poverty Bay District, Provincial District
of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 640 acres.
Bounded towards the North and North-west by the Papa-
korokoro Block, 7638·4, 2894, and 1600 links; towards
the North-east and East by the eastern portion of Section
No. 15, 8900 links; towards the South-east and South
by Section No. 16, 7813 links, and the Mangataikehu
Stream; towards the South-west and West by the Mangatai-
kehu Stream to the point of commencement: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
