IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof, and in the matter of the Manawatu Co-operative Steam Shipping Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that, by order of the Court dated the 29th day of April, 1887, upon the petition of Douglas Hastings Macarthur and others, contributories of the above-named company, it was ordered that the above-named company be wound up by the Court under the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof; and it was further ordered that the said DOUGLAS HASTINGS MACARTHUR, of Feilding, Gentleman, and FRED MOWLEM, of Palmerston North, Commission Agent, be appointed the Official Liquidators of the said company, and that all further proceedings in the winding-up of the said company be carried on in the District Court of Wanganui, holden at Palmerston North; and it was further ordered that the petitioners be allowed their costs of and relating to the said petition out of the assets of the said company, such costs to be taxed by the Registrar.

Surg., England, 1886, Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries, London, 1886, registered on Imperial Register, hereby give notice that I have this day deposited evidence of my qualifications with the Registrar of the Christchurch District, and that I shall apply to be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act on the 29th day of May, 1887.

I, COLIN MCKENZIE GORDON, Registrar of the Supreme Court for the District of Otago, do hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by JAMES MILLS and ANGUS CAMERON, two Directors of the Otago Towing Company (Limited), has been lodged in the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Dunedin, and forwarded to me; and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved, in manner provided by “The Companies Act, 1882.”

We, James Mills and Angus Cameron, two of the Directors of the Otago Towing Company (Limited), incorporated under “The Joint-stock Companies Act, 1860,” do hereby make oath and say—

That the nominal capital of the said company is fifteen thousand pounds, divided into three thousand shares of five pounds each, of which one thousand nine hundred and twenty shares only have been issued.

That the shares so issued have been fully paid up.

That the company has no assets, and has ceased to carry on its operations.
And we, James Mills and Angus Cameron, hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of the company.

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly subsisting between the undersigned BENJAMIN HALE and BENJAMIN THROP, Jun., as Rope and Twine Manufacturers, has been dissolved by mutual agreement as and from the 1st day of March, 1887.
The business will in future be carried on by the said Benjamin Hale upon his sole account. The said Benjamin Hale will take all the property and discharge all the liabilities of the late firm.

Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
