Description of Land: 35 acres good swamp land, 13 acres kahikatea bush, 13 acres old cultivations.

Parish of Kaiwaka.

Description of Land: South-western portion Section 85, broken forest with a few kauri trees; 121, 122, and 124A, open land, adjoining the Town of Hakaru.

Description of Land: Greater part kahikatea swamp, about 16 acres light bush and open land.

RODNEY COUNTY.

Parish of Waiwera.

Description of Land: Lots 193, 195, 268 to 271, all poor gum land, broken, and accessible by road, about 3 acres swamp on 195; 262A, mixed bush, very broken, about six miles from Orewa.

Parish of Tauhoa.

Description of Land: Open land, poor quality, well watered.

Parish of Omaha

*Subject to £150 for improvements.

Description of Land: Mostly in grass and under cultivation, soil very good, small quantity of bush on northern portion, fronts Whangateau Harbour and County Road.

GREAT BARRIER ISLAND.

Parish of Aotea.

Description of Land: Poor tea-tree land, fronting Orua-wharo Bay, on east coast of Great Barrier Island.

WAITEMATA COUNTY.

Parish of Takapuna.

Description of Land: Lot 251, about 1/2 acre scrub, 2 1/2 acres rush and flax swamp, remainder poor gum land, frontage to Great North Road; 252, about 1/2 acre scrub, 10 acres swamp, remainder poor gum land; 253, about 1/2 acre scrub, 2 acres swamp, remainder poor gum land, frontage to Great North Road; 254 to 259 inclusive are all lands of the same description as 253, with frontages to Great North Road; 260 to 263 inclusive, fern and tea-tree, undulating agricultural land; 265 and 266, about 1 acre swamp, remainder poor gum land. The above lands are situated on the Great North Road, about half-way between Lake Pupuke (Takapuna) and Okura.

Parish of Waipareira.

Description of Land: About one-half light mixed bush, remainder open tea-tree land, very broken, frontage to Swanson Creek, opposite Swanson Railway-station.

Parish of Waikomiti.

Description of Land: Poor land, accessible by road, about one and a half miles from Waikomiti Railway-station.

Parish of Okura.

Description of Land: Lot 59, about two-thirds open and broken, a little flat near Okura River, and some fair high tea-tree land; 60, open, with remains of small bushes along river, about three-fourths broken.

COROMANDEL COUNTY.

Parish of Hahei.

Description of Land: Lot 20, flat land, high scrub and manuka, about 5 acres swamp and kahikatea bush, good soil, accessible by made road; 21, level land, chiefly kahikatea forest, soil good, accessible by made road; 22, forest, some kauri, broken rocky soil, accessible by sea; 24, very broken, about 20 acres fern, remainder forest, consisting of kauri, tawa, manuka, tanekaha, and rimu, watered, and accessible by sea; 26, about 20 acres undulating, remainder rugged and broken, all forest, consisting of manuka, pohutukawa, tawa, &c., watered, accessible by sea and track.

Parish of Whenuakite.

Description of Land: Lots 9 and 10, about 20 acres high tea-tree, good soil, remainder flax, swamp, both accessible by river; 12, open fern and tea-tree, with rewarewa scattered about, watered, undulating, and broken, poor soil, accessible by river.

MANUKAU COUNTY.

Parish of Opaheke (Maketu Settlement).

Description of Land: Lot 29, first-class land; 39, first-class land, covered with tall manuka, level, stream runs through one corner; 76, about 2 acres swamp, remainder in grass and crops; 147 and 153, rather poor soil, covered with short fern, manuka, &c., about 3 acres swamp on Lot 153; 157, fine alluvial soil, level, partially covered with light bush, a stream running through the lot.

Parish of Opaheke (Kirikiri Settlement).

Description of Land: Lots 2 and 8, level, clay soil, covered with manuka and fern, portion swampy; 16 and 116, level, clay soil, covered with tall manuka and fern. These allotments all front roads open for traffic, and are situated about a mile from Papakura Railway-station.
