Hawera County Council, is published in accordance
with "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886."

SIR,—I have the honour to inform you that, at a poll of
electors for the Hawera Riding to raise a loan of £1,900 under
the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, held on Satur-
day, the 5th instant, 101 voted for the proposal and 11
against; and, as it required 304 to carry the said proposal,
I declare the proposal lost.
The poll for £600 for the Manai'a-Normanby Road has
been abandoned.

the reclamation of Town Reserve 80 and part of Town
Reserve 80A, and for erection of baths, resulted as follows:—

Waiwakaiho Road Board, is published in accordance

SPECIAL ORDER.
RESOLVED, That a special rate of three farthings in the
pound be made and levied on all lands abutting on Albert
Road, Hill Road, and Maude Road, from Section 78 to 131,
to pay interest and management on a loan of £300.
That a special rate of three farthings in the pound be made
and levied on all lands abutting on the Kent and Koriho
Roads, to pay interest and management on a loan of
£400.
That a special rate of seven farthings in the pound be
made and levied on all lands abutting on the Alfred Road,
and lying south of the site of the proposed bridge across
the Kaiapoi River, to pay interest and management of a loan
of £100.
I certify that the above special order has been duly passed
by the above Board on the 26th October, 1886.
