A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, in so far as it relates to the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto, which were, with other lands, set apart for leasing under the provisions of Part IV. of “The Land Act, 1885.”

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of March, 1887.

THE HONOURABLE THE MINISTER FOR PUBLIC WORKS PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by “The Cemeteries Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1885,” and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the Hawera County the powers conferred upon him by section six of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” as to the appointment and removal of Trustees for the cemetery described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Pihama Cemetery; and doth declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the first day of May next.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of March, 1887.

THE HONOURABLE THE MINISTER FOR PUBLIC WORKS PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, among other things, enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time make, alter, and revoke regulations for the purposes therein mentioned, which said regulations shall have force and effect only in any waters or places specified therein:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, certain regulations were made, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, prescribing a close reason for rock-oysters, and extending the close season for such oysters until the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, in respect of the County of Coromandel and the foreshores adjacent thereto:
And whereas it is expedient to further extend the close season for rock-oysters in respect of the County of Coromandel and the foreshores adjacent thereto:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby make the following regulation:—
The close season for rock-oysters prescribed by the regulations made under the said Act by Order in Council bearing date the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and which by the said regulations was extended for such oysters until the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, in respect of the County of Coromandel and the foreshores adjacent thereto, is hereby further extended from the said thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, until the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, in respect of the said County of Coromandel and the foreshores adjacent thereto.
Any person committing a breach of the above regulation shall be liable to a penalty of not less than one pound and not exceeding fifty pounds.
