WRITTEN tenders, under sealed covers, will be received for the perpetual lease of the under-mentioned section under Part IV. of "The Land Act, 1885," up to 10 a.m. on Thursday, the 24th March, 1887, addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Christchurch.

Every tender must be accompanied by a declaration, six months' rent, and a fee of £1 10s. Should there be two or more tenders of the same amount for the same section, the right to occupy will be decided by lot. The tenders will be opened at the meeting of the Land Board on the above date:—
