NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of “The Land Act, 1885,” Part VII., that leases of the runs enumerated hereunder will be submitted to public auction, at the Masonic Hall, Wanganui, on Thursday, the 31st March, 1887, at 11 a.m., at the upset rental per acre stated opposite each run:—

Pastoral License for Sale by Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that a pastoral license over portion of the late Raydale Run No. 2, estimated to contain 460 acres, as shown on the plan of the same in this office, will be offered by public auction, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, at noon, on Tuesday, the 29th March, 1887, at the upset annual rent of £2. Term of license, five years. The license will contain a special condition that the public shall at all times have free ingress and egress to any part of the land.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of section 188 of “The Land Act, 1885,” to the under-mentioned occupiers of runs that the same are liable to forfeiture; and if the rent, together with the full amount of penalty, be not paid within three months from date the runs will be declared forfeited:—

Upset rental, 4s. per acre. Land of superior quality, about two and a half miles from Romahapa Railway-station. Particulars: Terms, thirty years; renewals, twenty-one years. Each selector will only be allowed to take up one section. No person who has an interest in any land of more than an acre in extent in the colony shall be eligible. Money advances, not exceeding £20, will be made to assist selectors in the erection of houses, and, if bush land, a further sum of £2 10s. an acre, over an area not exceeding 20 acres, will be allowed for clearing and grassing. The registration fee, 10s., must accompany each application. When more applications than one are made on the same day
