Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh,
and of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow,
Masterton, hereby give you notice that it is my intention to
apply to you, on the 24th day of March, to have my name
placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zea-
land ; and that I have this day deposited in your office my
evidence of qualification for public inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately sub-
sisting between us, the undersigned WILLIAM McCUL-
LOUGH and REGINALD PINCKNEY, in the business of Printers,
carried on by us at High Street, in the City of Auckland,
under the style or firm of "William Atkin," was dissolved
on the 10th day of February, 1887 ; and that the business will
henceforth be carried on by the said William McCullough
alone, who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities,
and receive all money payable to the said late firm.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A
ROAD IN THE PARISH OF TE KOPURU, IN THE
COUNTY OF HOBSON, IN THE PROVINCIAL DIS-
TRICT OF AUCKLAND.

In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
subsequent statutes amendments thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
subsequent statutes amendments thereof, to execute certain
public works, to wit, the construction of a road in the above
parish, and for the purpose of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken :
And notice is further given that a plan of the said road is
deposited and open for inspection at the Post Office, Te
Kopuru : And notice is hereby given that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
such land shall, if they have any well-founded objection to
the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the
said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such
writing within forty days from the eighteenth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to
the Chairman, Hobson County Council, Te Kopuru.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 21 perches,
more or less, situated in the Parish of Te Kopuru, and de-
lineated upon a plan deposited in the Survey Office at Auck-
land, being part of Allotment 29, Parish of Te Kopuru.

per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
