IT is hereby notified that the land described in the under-mentioned application for a gold-mining lease is now open to persons holding miners’ rights or business licenses, or to applicants for a license, the applicant having failed to comply with the provisions of Regulation 20, Part IV., Appendix A, “The Mines Act, 1877,” viz. :

The application of Zoffany Claude Horne, for the Killarney Quartz-mining Company, dated the 11th November, 1885 ; 16 acres 2 roods, being Section 55, Block II., Kawatiri.

Runs liable to Forfeiture.—Notice to Occupiers.

IN pursuance of clause 188 of “The Land Act, 1885,” I hereby give notice that the runs mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be declared forfeited if the amount of rent due, together with the penalty for non-payment, is not paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Christchurch, within three months of this date.
