Gold-mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before the 5th day of January, 1887.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Reefton.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Rainy Creek Extended Quartz-mining Company (Limited). Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: Rainy Creek Extended Quartz-mining Company (Limited). 16 acres 2 roods, at Rainy Creek, in the Nelson South-west Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this twentieth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Applicants: Patrick Tallon and J. G. Walsh. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: Leinster Gold-mining Company. 16 acres 2 roods, at Murray Creek, in the Nelson South-west Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this fourteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.
