Land taken for Streets in Waipawa Town District, Provincial District of Hawke's Bay.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1882," and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit,
the construction of streets in Waipawa Town District, Pro-
vincial District of Hawke's Bay :
And whereas the Waipawa Town Board has laid before the
Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the
statutory declaration required by the said Act and the
amendments thereof:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
"The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the
land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of the construction of the said streets.

14468, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public
Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Well-
ton, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same ; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
ington, this seventeenth day of December, in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-six.

Land set apart for a Village Homestead Special Settlement
for Perpetual Leasing in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of
"The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the sections of land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are
hereby set apart and declared open for application as a village
homestead special settlement for perpetual leasing, upon
the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued
on the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and sixty-
third section of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and sixty-first
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis
Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, do hereby declare that the sections of land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease as small
areas, with perpetual right of renewal.
