Mining Notices.

STATEMENT of the Affairs of the Invincible Quartz-Mining Company (Limited), for the half-year ended the 27th day of November, 1886, in accordance with section 32 of "The Mining Companies Act, 1886."

Name of company: The Invincible Quartz-mining Company (Limited).

When formed, and date of registration: 8th day of September, 1880; 28th day of September, 1880.

Where business is conducted, and name of Legal Manager: Ballarat Street, Queenstown; Franz William Frederick Geisow.

Nominal capital: £21,000.

Amount of paid-up scrip given to shareholders: £14,000.

Number of shares into which capital is divided: 21,000.

Number of shares taken: 21,000.

Amount of calls made: 6s. 6d. per share on 7,000 contributory shares, and £390 11s. 8d. on 14,000 paid-up shares; total, £2,665 11s. 8d.

Amount of subscribed capital paid up: virtually, £2,665 11s. 8d.; and nominally, £16,275.

Number of shareholders at time of registration of company: 7.

Amount of cash in hand: Nil.

Whether in operation or not: In operation.

Total amount of dividends declared: £2,975.

Number of shares unallotted: Nil.

LOST SCRIP IN THE INVINCIBLE QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that Thomas Hope, of Glenorchy, Lake County, Farmer, has lost his Scrip, No. 105, for his 925 contributory shares in the Invincible Quartz-mining Company (Limited), numbered 14001 to 14925, both inclusive; and he has applied to the Directors of the said company to issue to him a duplicate scrip for the said shares, and that the Directors have passed a resolution to issue, and they will issue, to the said Thomas Hope such duplicate scrip at the expiration of thirty days from the date hereof, unless objections in writing be lodged with the Manager of the said company, at the company's registered office, Ballarat Street, Queenstown, within thirty days from this date.

Dated at Queenstown, this 3rd day of December, 1886.
