Gold-mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or before the 8th day of January, 1887.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.

IN the matter of a judgment of the Court given during a session opened at Gisborne, in the said district, on the 17th day of September, 1886, upon the hearing of a claim to succeed to the interest of Heperi Pango in a block of land situate in the said district, and known as “Marae-taha No. 1;” and in the matter of the application of Hirini te Ratu and others for a rehearing upon such claim:
