NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land herein-after described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Private Advertisements.

NOTICE.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof, and in the matter of the Evening News and Hawke’s Bay Advertiser Newspaper and Printing Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above-named company, held, pursuant to notice, at the Provincial Hotel, Napier, on the seventh day of September instant, the following resolutions were passed :—

  1. “That the conditional agreement (notice of which has been given) to sell the company’s business to Mr. Hoggen on the terms mentioned in the notice dated August the nineteenth, 1886, be agreed to.”

  2. “That, to enable the foregoing resolution to be given effect to, it is agreed that this company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. J. H. Vautier be appointed Liquidator of the company.”

And notice is further given that a meeting of the shareholders of the said company will be held at the same place, at 7.30 p.m. on Friday, the twenty-fourth day of September instant, for the purpose of confirming the said resolutions.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1860,” and of the Patea Steam Shipping Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the offices of the company, Patea, on the 12th day of August, 1886, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the company, also duly convened and held at the same place on the 14th day of September, 1886, the said resolution was duly confirmed :—

“That the Patea Steam Shipping Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that Messrs. Edward Charles Horner and Josiah Richards be appointed Liquidators.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned, as General Merchants, Riverton, has been dissolved by mutual consent from the 31st August, 1886. The business will in future be carried on by WILLIAM ROBERTS. All accounts due to the late firm of Roberts and More must be paid forthwith to William Roberts, who will pay all debts owing by the late firm of Roberts and More, Riverton.

ELECTION OF PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed, on Tuesday, the 2nd day of November next, to hold an election of seven fit and proper persons to serve as Members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand.

All candidates must be nominated, in manner provided by the regulations, on or before Tuesday, the 12th day of October next. Nominations will be received by the Registrar, at the office of the Pharmacy Board, 218, Victoria Arcade, Auckland, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and must be delivered before 4 o’clock p.m. on the 12th day of October next.

Nominations require to be in form of First Schedule of Regulations. (See Gazette, 9th August, 1883.)
