DISSOLUTION OF THE PARTNERSHIP OF MESSRS. HESLOP AND EAKINS.

WE, the undersigned, GEORGE HESLOP, of Chesterhope, near Taradale, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, Sheep-farmer, and JOHN ARTHUR EAKINS, of Napier, in the said Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, Veterinary Surgeon and Chemist, heretofore carrying on business together in copartnership as Manufacturers of Sheep-dip and Foot-rot Remedies and Kampholyptine, under the style or firm of “Heslop and Eakins,” at Chesterhope aforesaid, have this day mutually agreed to dissolve partnership.

And George Heslop is hereby authorized to recive and pay all debts owing to or by the said firm.

As witness our hands, this 7th day of September, 1886.

TRAMWAY NOTICE.

THE CANTERBURY TRAMWAY COMPANY (LIMITED).

Incorporated under “The Joint-stock Companies Act, 1860.”

I HEREBY give notice, in accordance with the provisions of “The Tramways Act, 1872,” that the above company intend to apply to the Government for an order—

  1. For power to extend the Addington line from the railway-gate at Addington Junction to the Sunnyside Asylum.

  2. The names of the borough and road districts through which the works are to be carried out are—

(1.) The Sydenham Borough ;

(2.) The Spreydon Road Board ;

(3.) The Riccarton Road Board.

  1. On or before Monday, the 20th September next, the deposits required in accordance with subsection 2, section 7, and part 2, Schedule No. 3, of “The Tramways Act, 1872,” will be made at the following places for public inspection :—

(1.) The office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Christchurch ;

(2.) The Borough Council Office, Sydenham ;

(3.) The Spreydon Road Board Office ;

(4.) The Riccarton Road Board Office ;

(5.) The Public Works Office, Wellington ;

(6.) The office of the company, Cathedral Square, Christchurch.

  1. The office of the Canterbury Tramway Company (Limited), situated in Cathedral Square, in the City of Christchurch, is the place at which printed copies of the draft order, when deposited, and of the order, when made, will be obtainable.

THE WAIKATO CHEESE AND BACON FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the company, held at its registered office on Monday, the 30th day of August, 1886, the following resolutions were passed :—

  1. “That the Waikato Cheese and Bacon Factory Company be wound up voluntarily.”

  2. “That Captain James McPherson be appointed Liquidator, at a remuneration of £10.”

  3. “That the Liquidator be instructed to dispose of the property and business of the company on such terms as will secure that the shareholders will be relieved from all further liability on payment of the thirteenth call.”

A second Extraordinary General Meeting will be held at the registered office of the company, Hamilton, on Wednesday, the 15th day of September, 1886, at the hour of 7.30 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of confirming the above resolutions.
