THIS is to notify that ARTHUR RUSSELL has been appointed Manager of the New Eureka Gold-mining Company (Limited), in lieu of George Harcourt; and that the office of the company has been transferred to the office of Arthur Russell, Brown Street, Thames.

To the Warden at Cromwell of the Otago Goldfields Mining District, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert water for all or any the purposes mentioned in section 31 of “The Mines Act, 1877,” commencing at a point in Waterfall Creek about one mile above its junction with Wanaka Lake, and terminating at Wanaka Station, emptying into Lake Wanaka. The length of such race is one and a half miles or thereabouts, its intended course is north-east and south-west, and it is already constructed. The mean depth of such race is 1ft. 6in., and the mean breadth is 2ft., and it is proposed to divert one Government-head of water. The license is asked for a term of fifteen years.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution, which was passed at an extraordinary general meeting of Shareholders in the above company, held on the 23rd July, 1886, was confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of Shareholders, held on the 17th August, 1886, viz. :—
“That the Moa Creek Gold-mining and Quartz-crushing Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that Messrs. Moreau Amy and Duncan Campbell MacDonald be, and they hereby are, appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”
