of fair quality; situate about ten miles from Roxburgh and

Township.

Tuapeka West District: Sections 9, 10, 24 to 27, Block
XIV.; 5 to 10 acres. Upset rental, 2s. per acre. Land of
fair quality; known as Darton Village Settlement.

Waitahuna West District: Sections 120 to 122, 125, and
126, Block I.; 4 to 8 acres. Upset rental, 2s. per acre.
Excellent land; situate at Tuapeka Mouth.

TOWNSHIPS.

Arrowtown Extension: Section 8, Block XXXIII.; Sec-
tion 1, Block XXXIV.; Sections 1 and 2, Block XXXV.;
5 to 12 acres. Upset rental, 3s. per acre. Good suburban
land; along the Arrow River.

Tapanui Township: Sections 5 to 8, Block XXIII.; Sec-
tions 5 to 7, Block XXIV.; Section 7, Block XXV.; Sections
1, 4 to 8, Block XXVII.; 2 to 8 acres. Upset rental, 4s. per
acre. Land of superior quality; outside township.

PARTICULARS.

Terms, thirty years; renewals, twenty-one years. Each
selector will only be allowed to take up one section. No
person who has an interest in any land in the colony shall
be eligible. Money advances, not exceeding £20, will be
made to assist selectors in the erection of houses; and, if
bush-land, a further sum of £2 10s. an acre, over an area not
exceeding 20 acres, will be allowed for clearing and grassing.
The registration-fee, 10s., must accompany each application.
When more applications than one are made on the same
day for the same land, the right to occupy the land applied
for shall—married men having the preference—be determined
by lot amongst the applicants.

had at the District Land Offices, and the Crown Lands Office,
Dunedin.
