the Tauranga Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of August, 1886.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by
“The Cemeteries Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1885,”
and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His
Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby delegate to the Corporation of the
Borough of Tauranga the powers conferred upon him by
section six of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” as to the appoint-
ment and removal of Trustees for the cemetery described in
the Schedule hereto; and doth declare that this Order in
Council shall take effect as from the first day of September
next.
SCHEDULE.
TAURANGA CEMETERY.
ALL those parcels of land being Lots Nos. 55 and 58 of
the suburbs of the Town of Tauranga, Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 25 acres; as the
same are delineated on the plan of the said town, deposited
in the Survey Office, Auckland.

of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His
Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the County
of Taieri the powers conferred upon him by section six
of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” as to the appointment and
removal of Trustees for the cemetery described in the
Schedule hereto, and known as the Hindon Cemetery; and
doth declare that this Order in Council shall take effect
as from the first day of September next.
SCHEDULE.
HINDON CEMETERY.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, situate
in the Mount Hyde District, and being Section No. 43 of
Block IV. of said district. Bounded towards the North by
Section No. 23 of same block and a road-line, 1000 links;
towards the East by same section, 1000 links; towards the
South by same section, 1000 links; and towards the West
by same section and part of village reserve, Township of
Hindon, 1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of August, 1886.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was reserved for a gravel-pit: And whereas, in the
opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land
in the Woodville Road Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of
“The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that,
from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve
shall become vested in the Road Board of the Woodville
District, in trust, for a gravel-pit.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Hawke’s Bay, being Section No. 11A of Block V., Woodville
Survey District (Bush Mills Special Settlement), and con-
taining by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods 33 perches.

Terms and Conditions of Sale of Village Settlements in
the Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of August, 1886.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-seventh sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that
the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions
upon which the lands comprised in any village settlement
shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand has, by Proclamation, set apart the lands
enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village
settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in
part recited Act, and by and with the advice of the Executive
Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby fix the
following terms and conditions upon which the said village
settlements shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for
the same, that is to say,–
- The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be
disposed of as village and small-farm allotments for cash. - The day upon which the lands shall be open for ap-
plication shall be Wednesday, the twenty-second day of
September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, at
the Land Office, New Plymouth. - The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be
sold for cash immediately on purchase. - No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one
section. - If there should be more than one application for any
allotment, the right to purchase the same shall be deter-
mined by lot amongst the applicants. - The purchaser of any lands described in the Schedule,
upon the full payment of the purchase-money, will be en-
titled to his Crown grant, to be issued in the usual way
upon payment of the fees prescribed by law.
