Withdrawing Land in the Auckland Land District from
the Small-area Leasing System.

A PROCLAMATION.

I
N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the sixth section of "The Land
Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare
that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Procla-
mation of the twelfth day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six, by His Excellency the Governor,
setting apart sections of land for leasing as small areas, with
perpetual right of renewal, shall be and the same is hereby
revoked in so far as it relates to the sections of land enume-
rated in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing 1,890 acres, more
or less, situate in the Survey Districts of Pakiri and Rodney,
in the County of Rodney, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, being portions of Blocks XV. of the said Pakiri Sur-
vey District, and III. of the said Rodney Survey District.
Bounded towards the North-east and South-east by the
Parish of Omaha, 17200 and 8000 links; generally towards
the South by the Whangateau Harbour, 30000 links; and
towards the South-west and North-west by the said Parish
of Omaha, 2800 and 13300 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
lington, this seventeenth day of August, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-six.

1885."

A PROCLAMATION.

Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William
Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the sections of land
enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the
provisions of sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two
hundred and nineteen of Part VII. of "The Land Act,
1885," relating to small grazing runs.

A PROCLAMATION.

W
HEREAS by the twentieth section of "The Land Act
1877 Amendment Act, 1879," the land specified in
the Schedule hereto was, with other lands, set apart for sale
as a village settlement, by a Proclamation dated the nine-
teenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-one: And whereas by an Order in Council issued
in terms of the twenty-first section of the Act aforesaid it
was directed that the section should be disposed of at the
price stated therein on deferred payments: And whereas
it is expedient that the section mentioned in the Schedule
hereto should be withdrawn from the ordinary village-
settlement system:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me
by section six of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf,
do hereby revoke the said Proclamation of the nineteenth
day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one, so far as it relates to the section mentioned in the
Schedule hereto, and do proclaim and declare that the said
section is hereby withdrawn from the ordinary village-
settlement system.

conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto for sale as village settlements and small farms, upon
such terms and conditions as are to be set forth in an Order
in Council to be made under the one hundred and sixty-
seventh section of the said Act.
