PARTICULARS.

Terms, thirty years; renewals, twenty-one years. Each
selector will only be allowed to take up one section. No
person who has an interest in any land in the colony shall
be eligible. Money advances, not exceeding £20, will be
made to assist selectors in the erection of houses; and, if
bush-land, a further sum of £2 10s. an acre, over an area not
exceeding 20 acres, will be allowed for clearing and grassing.
The registration-fee, 10s., must accompany each application.
When more applications than one are made on the same
day for the same land, the right to occupy the land applied
for shall—married men having the preference—be determined
by lot amongst the applicants.
Forms of application and conditions of occupation can be
had at the District Land Offices, and the Crown Lands Office,
Dunedin.

1881,” at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the
25th August, 1886, at 12 o'clock noon:—
Reserve 152, Wainui, 10 acres, at the upset annual rental
of 4s. per acre.
Term of lease, fourteen years. On the fall of the hammer,
one year one month's rent to be paid to the 1st October,
1887.

Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 25th August, 1886, at 12
o'clock noon, at the upset price of £2 per acre.

are open for leasing for a term of thirty-years, with the
right of renewal for further terms of twenty-one years; and
that written tenders in sealed covers will be received up to
12 o'clock noon, on Wednesday, the 1st September, 1886.
The tenders will be opened at the meeting of the Land
Board on the same day. Maps, conditions, and tender-
forms at Land Office, Hokitika.

Description: Sections Nos. 668 to 672 are situate on the
eastern bank of the Waikukupa River, Waiho Survey Dis-
trict, and include the flat land between the sea-coast and
the foot of the terraces. Sections Nos. 673 to 677 are
situate in the Mahitahi River Valley, Bruce Bay Survey
District, and comprise lands north of and adjoining the
farm of Mr. Frank McGlone, at Flagstaff Creek.

Abstract of Conditions relating to Perpetual Leases.

Any person of seventeen years of age and upwards may
become a lessee. The highest tenderer, if his tender shall
be equal to or shall exceed the upset price, shall be declared
the lessee; but, if the rent offered by two or more tenderers
is the same in amount, then it shall be decided by lot which
person shall be the lessee. If there be only one tenderer,
then the rent shall be the upset price notwithstanding his
tender may have been higher.
Improvement Conditions: One-twentieth of the land leased
