No. 2 consists of the device of three swords crossed and tied with a ribbon, the handle of the central sword being in the reverse position to that of the other two, in combination with the name “London Paint & Colour Company” beneath such device.
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade Marks shall apply.
Artists’ and painters’ colours, pigments, and paints, mineral dyes and varnishes, oils used in manufactures, and dyes other than mineral dyes, edible oils, illuminating and lubricating oils.

Special Order made by Wairarapa East County Council.—Altering Boundaries of Castlepoint and Wainuioru Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Council of the County of Wairarapa East, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER made by the County Council of Wairarapa East on the 8th day of June, 1886, altering the Boundary between the Castlepoint and Wainuioru Ridings.
WHEREAS the Council of Wairarapa East County did, on the 9th day of February, 1886, pass a special order constituting a new road district, called the Whareama Road District, the external boundaries of which include portions of the Castlepoint and Wainuioru Ridings: And whereas the constitution of the said new district caused the boundary-line between the said ridings to be not in conformity with section 23 of “The Counties Act Amendment Act, 1882:” Now, therefore, this Council hereby, by special order, declares that the said boundary-line shall be and it is hereby accordingly altered, so that the northern boundary of the said Whareama Road District, from the ocean to the centre of the Taueru River, as described on page 483 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 23, dated the 15th April, 1886, shall be the northern boundary of the Wainuioru Riding.
Passed by the said Council on the 8th day of June, 1886.

Notice under “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883.”
WHEREAS the estate and interest of Arekatera te Ra, Piripi te Rawarihi, and Hinewai, aboriginal natives of New Zealand, in the land described in the Schedule hereto, is vested in Teraite Tonihu, as Trustee under the provisions of “The Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1867,” and the several amendments thereof, subject to certain restrictions on the alienation of such land, and application has been made for the removal of such restrictions:
It is hereby notified that it is intended, immediately after the expiration of sixty days from the publication of this notice in the Gazette and in the Kahiti, to remove the said restrictions on the alienation of the said land in respect of the interests aforesaid, in order that the said land may be leased by the said Trustee for a term of twenty-one years from the 1st January, 1882.
Dated at Wellington, this ninth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.
