SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the County of Geraldine, being the Township of Arowhenua, bounded towards the North-east by Rural Section No. 3152, a road, Rural Sections Nos. 3153, 2483, 2484, a road, and Rural Section No. 2534, all of Block II., Arowhenua Survey District; towards the South-east by Rural Sections Nos. 2583, 3154, Reserves Nos. 2558 and 857, and by the north-western boundary-line of the latter reserve produced to the south side of High Street; thence towards the South-west by Reserves Nos. 307 and 277R to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of the Railway-station Reserve; and thence towards the West by the said Railway-station Reserve.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Land taken for the Construction of Harbour Works in the Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne, Provincial District of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of harbour works in the Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne: And whereas the Gisborne Harbour Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section eleven of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of constructing harbour works; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the land so mentioned shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in the Gisborne Harbour Board, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever.

Devonport Borough Council to return a Member to the Auckland Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of July, 1886.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section forty-six of “The Harbours Act, 1878” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), that if at any time it shall be made to appear to the Governor that a local governing body or association electing or appointing a member or members of a Harbour Board has ceased to exist, or has been incorporated with or united to some other local governing body or association, the Governor may, by Order in Council, declare what other local governing body or association shall return a member in lieu of the body or association so ceasing to exist or being incorporated or united as aforesaid:
And whereas it is provided by the said Act that one member of the Auckland Harbour Board shall be elected by the District Board of the Highway District of Devonport, which said Board was subsequently reconstituted as the Devonport Road Board: And whereas it has been made to appear to me that the Devonport Road Board has ceased to exist:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby declare that the Borough Council of the Borough of Devonport shall, in lieu of the Devonport Road Board, return a member to the Auckland Harbour Board.

Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Bunnythorpe Village Settlement, in the Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of July, 1886.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand has, by Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette, set apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following terms and conditions upon which the said village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that is to say,—
- The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of as small-farm allotments upon deferred payments.
- The day upon which the lands shall be open for application shall be Monday, the twenty-third day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, at the Land Office, Wellington.
- The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold on deferred payments, subject to the provisions relating to suburban lands of Part III. of “The Land Act, 1885.”
- No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one section.
- The prices stated in the Schedule hereto shall be the prices at which the lands shall be open for application.
- If there should be more than one application for any allotment, the right to purchase the same shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants.
- Each applicant for a deferred-payment section in the Schedule will be required to make the declaration prescribed by section one hundred and thirteen of “The Land Act, 1885,” and shall at the time of application deposit with the Receiver of Land Revenue for the Wellington Land District one-tenth of the price of the allotment. Such payment shall be deemed to be a discharge of the licensee-fee for the six months due on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.
- The purchaser of any lands described in the Schedule, upon the full payment of the purchase-money, and also the fulfilment of the terms and conditions prescribed by “The Land Act, 1885,” relating to land on deferred payments, will be entitled to his Crown grant, to be issued in the usual way upon payment of the fees prescribed by law.
