NOTICE is hereby given that all that parcel of land, being
Section 32, Block XXIII., Town of Clyde, comprised
in certificate of title, Register-book, Vol. lviii., folio 59, is
hereby offered for sale, and further that, unless within one
calendar month from the date of the Gazette containing this
notice a sufficient amount shall have been realized by the
sale of the said land to satisfy the principal and interest
moneys due on a certain memorandum of mortgage registered
in this office as No. 7833, and all expenses of such sale or
incidental thereto, an order will be issued by me in favour of
the TRUSTEES OF THE COURT STAR OF DUNSTAN,
No. 4837, OF THE ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS,
the Mortgagees, pursuant to section 127 of “The Land
Transfer Act, 1870,” foreclosing GEORGE CLARK, of Clyde,
County Clerk, and all persons claiming through or under
him, from all right and equity of redemption of and in the

Mining Notices.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
Otara, Fortrose, 8th June, 1886.
To the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct a
Water-race to divert and use water for mining
purposes, commencing at a point distant about 80 chains
from the sandhills on the Ocean Beach, on a tributary of the
Waipapa Creek, and terminating at the said sandhills.
The length of such race is 80 chains or thereabouts, and
its intended course is south-west.
We also give notice that we intend to construct a reservoir
at the said point, the dimensions of which are ¼ acre, 250
links by 100 links.
The mean depth of such race is 10 inches, and the mean
breadth is 2 feet, and it is proposed to divert one Govern-
ment-head of water.
Time required for construction, three months.

To the Warden at Clyde of the Otago Goldfields Mining
District, and all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to extend a Water-race,
already constructed and held under license No. 912,
issued at Clyde, 25th September, 1879, such extension
commencing at the termination of said race, being a point
about half a mile below the residence-area lately held by the
applicant (now held by Ah Wye) on west side of Conroy’s
Gully, and terminating at applicant’s farm, Earnsclough
Flat. The length of such extension is two miles or there-
abouts, and its intended course is north and south. The
mean depth of such extension is 1 foot, and the mean
breadth is 2 feet, and the time required for its construction
is three months.

land. -

The nominal capital of the company is six thousand
